Roy Court the site author. I have been involved in this project for the past 30 years. I have helped with my experience throughout Europe and the World. I have attended has a judo delegate 3 World Games/ 1 European Championships, many international / national and regional events.I was also one of the coaches that helped to convince the Special Olympics movement to accept the sport of judo into its summer sports programme. I was also one of the coaches who helped form the EJU Working party, to look into the possibility of the EJU accepting it in its programme.

With no background experience of disabilities, it was a hands on approach, eventually getting together with other coaches in Europe to form systems that would eventually enable the National Governing bodies of judo, to accept the project and convince them that the sport of judo could be adapted safely for all regardless of any disability.

People have the right to participate, regardless of disability in the sport of their choice.

WE AIM TO ENSURE ALL ATHLETES HAVE A FAIR AND MEANINGFUL EVENT.

Most of us coaches have been in this project a long time, let us all meet in Ravenna in May 2011 and discuss over a beer the progress we have made and discuss the future.

I believe we should all have a say and help our athletes get to the top.

Meet me in Ravenna 12th to 15th May 2011.

This is one of the most friendly events in the calendar and most enjoyable, top class itenary and 1st class accommodation Sightseeing and venue.

You will also have the opportunity to speak to the INAS new sports director for judo.

I would love to meet you all again.

Congratulations to TIZIANA BERTI from Ravenna on her appointment of Sports Director for judo for INAS FID.

This is fantastic news for this project.

What I put on this site, is for me to decide and do. If someone dislikes or disagrees with something on here. They should have the guts to contact me direct, not sending it through a messenger.
